PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: 3 July 2026
This policy explains how Simplicity Media Ltd, an independent media agency founded in London in 2019, with sister operations in Canada. ("Simplicity Media", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you use this website (simplicity.media) or contact us. We process personal information in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
Information you give us. If you contact us through the form on our contact page (operated via Cognito Forms), by phone or by email, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, company and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived here. This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you. Our web server also keeps standard access logs (IP address, request URL, timestamp) for security and operations.
How we use it
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, provide and improve our services, understand how the website is used, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run this website and our business: Cognito Forms (contact form processing), Google (Google Analytics), and our website hosting provider. Each processes data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. Because Simplicity Media operates in both Canada and the United Kingdom, information you send us may be accessed by our teams in either country; we apply the same standard of care wherever it is handled.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards (typically no more than 24 months unless you become a client). Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings. Server logs rotate automatically.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent to processing at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details on our contact page. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies, mainly for analytics. See our Cookie Policy for the full list and how to control them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here.
